1/ Check your personal email inbox and find our Welcome email with your login details, it was sent when you first registered.

2/ Go on Amoureux.com at http://landing.amoureux.com/ and the click on "?" at the top right corner of the page.
Give the email address you used to register and create your profile: we will send you an new email to that address with your login details.

My Profile

>> How can I change something in my public profile ?
Log into your account and go to "MY ACCOUNT" in the horizontal menu top of the page, scroll down to "MODIFY" and click on the section you want to edit.
You can access all the links to complete your profile (Videos, photos, public profile, private space, preferences...)
Once you have edited your « public profile » click on the small pen icon to change your age, height, eye colour and so on...
To change your text, select « private space » in the same menu, then click on « Modify » next to the text section.
Click on OK to confirm.
>> How can I add a profile text in my private space ?

To add your text in your private space:

Log into your account on Amoureux.com with your login details  (at the top right corner of the page)

In the horizontal menu click on « MY ACCOUNT », scroll down and click on « private space ».

Scroll down under the photos and click on « modify » next to the text : type in your text and click on OK to confirm.
>> How can I organise my authorisations ?

An autorisation is needed to access the private space of a member.

- To ask access to the private space of a member:
Click on the profile of your choice : once the profile page is open click on "Private Space" and then on "Ask authorisation" or "Cancel".
Your request will be sent to this person who can accept or refuse.
To know if your request has been accepted, you can go to "Authorisations" in the menu of your account, and then select "Your requests accepted" or "Your requests refused" in the scrolling menu.

- Someone wishes to access your private space:
Click on "Requests pending approval", here you can choose to accept or refuse their request by clicking on "Accept" or "Refuse".

You will receive an email in your personal email inbox only if you have chosen to receive the "Profile alerts" by ticking off the alert box in your profile.

You can organise the access to your private space by clicking on "Authorisations" in the horizontal menu.

Here you can see:
Your requests to access other members' private space (pending, approved, refused).
Their requests to access your private space (pending, approved, refused).

Messages

You are a member : if you are not logged in, log into your account.
Select the profile you wish to write to (click on the profile, photo or video) and then on the link "Send message" on the left of the profile photo.
>> Delete a message

You wish to delete a message you have received:
Select the message you wish to delete by checking the box next to it, then click on the bin icon at the bottom of the list of messages.
>> Find a sent message

If you are not logged in, log into your account.
In the horizontal menu top of the page, go to "MY ACCOUNT" and click on « Inbox », and then on "Sent messages", If you also want to see the sent messages which have been deleted, tick off the box "Deleted messages" and click on OK.
>> Why are my messages crossed off ?

When a message you have sent is crossed off, this means that the recipient has deleted it.

VIP Subscription

VIP is an optional subscription : you can surf in peace, without any ads, come up on top of the search results, your profile is highlighted , you will have the possibility to be visible only to other VIP members, get an extra 600 bonus points added to your motivation index, browse anonymously in « invisible mode », your profile text becomes visible to all members, you can hide your location from other members.
>> How do I cancel my subscription

A member can notify Amoureux at any time of their wish to cancel a subscription, either directly from their account or by mail.
IMPORTANT : the cancellation will not entail the refund of the remaining period to run until the expiration of the subscription.
The cancellation of a subscription, decided by the member, will be effective at the expiration date of the subscription in progress. Notification must be made no later than 48 hours before the next subscription payment is due.

Block/Unblock Profiles

>> How do I block a profile ?

If you no longer wish to be contacted by a member, you may block him/her.
- To block a member who as written to you :
in your Inbox, tick the checkbox on the left of the message of the person you wish to block, then click on the small STOP icon bellow all the messages and click on OK to confirm this action. This person is now blacklisted.
- To block a chat contact : simply click on the « no entry » sign.

Important : when you block another member, his/her visits, winks, pending authorisations will be deleted, messages will no longer be online. You cannot invite a blocked member to chat, and that member can no longer invite you.
>> How to unblock a member ?

Click on "Blocked" in the menu "My account", select the profile you wish to unblock by ticking the checkbox next to that profile and click on the bin icon, then click on OK when you are asked if you want to delete this profile from your list of blocked profile.

Photo / Video

>> I would like to add photos to my profile.

Log into your account and go to "MY ACCOUNT" in the horizontal menu top of the page, scroll down to "MODIFY" and click on « Your photos ». Follow the instructions to upload your photos.

1/Add a photo from your computer : click on the browse button and follow the procedure.

2/Add a photo from your webcam : click on « From your webcam ».
3/Import from Facebook : click on « Use your Facebook profile photo as a public photo »

The first photo will appear in your Public Profile, it will be reviewed by our moderation service before appearing online (if the photo isn't accepted you may upload another photo, respecting our terms of service) .

The other 25 photos will be posted on your Private Space and will be online immediatly, they must nonetheless respect the site's charter.

Here are the terms to respect to get your public pic posted: :-)
- It must show your face clearly (no sun-glasses, good lighting) and you must be alone in the photo
- It must be a close up and taken at a good angle (no low angle shot for exemple)
- No blurry pictures, no play of light and shadow
- No nudity or offensive photos
- Photos must not include personal messages (no phone number or email address)
- It must be a recent photo
- The photo should be in JPG format
- Photo file sizes must not be bigger than 500Ko
>> How can I delete a photo ?

Log into your account and go to "MY ACCOUNT" in the horizontal menu top of the page, scroll down to "MODIFY" and click on « Your photos ».
Click on the delete button next to the photo you wish to delete.
>> I would like to add a video to my profile

Log into your account and go to "MY ACCOUNT" in the horizontal menu top of the page, scroll down to "MODIFY" and click on « Your videos». Follow the instructions to upload your video.

Geolocation

You wish to modify or rectify your location :
In the section « Come and complete your profile » click on « Give a more precise location », Google map will open
1/ Drag the pointer (the house) to your location on the map, a list of towns will open, click on your location, it will automatically be saved.
2/ You can zoom in or out on the map of your country by using the + and -, you can also use the arrows to move north, south, east and west.
The overview map appears in the bottom right corner of the map.
3/ To close the map, click on the cross top left of the map.

Deactivate or Delete Your Profile

>> How can I deactivate my profile

You would like to deactivate your profile for a temporary reason (holiday etc...)
Log into your account and go to "MY ACCOUNT" in the horizontal menu top of the page, scroll down to "MODIFY" and click on « Remove profile », enter your profile number and password and then click on OK.
Your profile is no longer online and members cannot send you messages or see your profile any more. It has been desactivated.
>> How can I delete my profile ?

Log into your account and go to "MY ACCOUNT" in the horizontal menu top of the page, scroll down to "MODIFY" and click on « Remove profile », enter your profile number and password and then click on OK.
1/ Enter your profile number and password and then click on OK
2/ To remove your profile completly click on « Remove entirely », type in the reason
3/ Enter the number code in grey and click on "Remove entirely"

Log into your account and go to "MY ACCOUNT" in the horizontal menu top of the page, select "Preferences" under "Modify".
Then deselect the Message alert checkbox : "Receving your alerts".
>> How do I change the frequency of the alerts ?

In the menu "My account" top of the page select "Preferences":
In "Receiving your alerts" use the scrolling menu for each alert to choose your option (no alerts, real-time, once an hour, once a day).
